NVIDIA broke ground on a new manufacturing facility in Sherman, Texas, to expand its AI infrastructure. The project partners with Coherent to produce essential lasers and optical components for NVIDIA’s AI systems. This expansion aims to strengthen the domestic U.S. supply chain for critical hardware.
NVIDIA also formed partnerships in South Korea to develop gigawatt-scale AI data centers. Collaborations with SK Telecom, Naver, and Doosan Group will build out South Korea's AI cloud infrastructure. The first data center is scheduled to become operational in 2027. These initiatives address the exponential growth in global demand for AI computing power.
