Nvidia entered a long-term strategic partnership with Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI). Former OpenAI chief scientist Ilya Sutskever co-founded the AI research firm. Nvidia provided a substantial, undisclosed investment as part of the deal.
SSI will utilize Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin computing platform. This access is expected to increase SSI’s compute capacity by an order of magnitude.
The companies will collaborate on technical advancements for Nvidia’s current and future hardware. SSI will contribute research insights to the development process. This partnership provides resources for SSI’s goal of creating safe superintelligent AI.
