Nvidia released its Alpamayo 2 Super frontier reasoning model for commercial use in robotaxis and autonomous vehicles. The model enables vehicles to perceive, reason, and act in real-time using human-like judgment.

This 34-billion-parameter vision-language-action model helps autonomous systems navigate rare and complex long-tail driving events. It represents a significant upgrade over previous Nvidia versions.

Nvidia issued the model under the Linux Foundation’s permissive OpenMDW-1.1 license. Automakers and developers can now inspect, fine-tune, and redistribute the technology for their own platforms without restriction.
