Nvidia introduced the RTX Pro 5500 Blackwell Workstation Edition for professional AI, simulation, and graphics. The GPU utilizes 21,760 CUDA cores, matching the consumer GeForce RTX 5090. It features 84GB of GDDR7 ECC memory. This capacity represents a 2.6-fold increase over the gaming flagship.

The card supports rack-mounted workstation deployments in air-cooled and liquid-cooled configurations. Its high memory capacity handles large AI models and complex scientific visualization datasets. Local LLM inference and professional graphics remain primary use cases.

Multi-Instance GPU technology allows the card to partition into two isolated 42GB instances. This feature enables shared access for multiple users or simultaneous tasks. Nvidia has not yet announced pricing or availability dates.
