Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang confirmed the company is restarting H200 AI chip manufacturing for shipment to China. This move marks a significant return to the Chinese market after U.S. export restrictions previously halted access.

Huang stated that Nvidia has received purchase orders from many customers in China. The company is currently activating its supply chain to fulfill these requirements.

The U.S. government established a licensing framework in January 2026 to permit H200 sales to approved Chinese customers. This follows a production suspension in March due to regulatory hurdles in both the U.S. and China. Huang noted the current outlook has shifted significantly over the last two weeks.
