Nvidia will sell 1 million graphics processing units to Amazon Web Services. The supply agreement extends through the end of 2027. Shipments are scheduled to begin in 2026. The deal includes Nvidia’s upcoming Blackwell and Rubin GPU architectures. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The transaction incorporates new chips based on technology from AI startup Groq. Nvidia licensed this technology in a deal valued between $17 billion and $20 billion. AWS will use Groq technology and Nvidia hardware to enhance AI inference. Nvidia will also provide networking equipment for AWS data centers.
