NVIDIA and Emerald AI partnered with six U.S. energy firms to develop power-flexible AI data centers. The announcement occurred at the CERAWeek 2026 conference in Houston. AES, Constellation, and NextEra Energy are among the lead collaborators.

The initiative aims to accelerate grid connections for AI factories. These facilities will function as flexible assets to support grid stability.

The centers utilize NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin DSX AI Factory reference design. New DSX Flex software manages power consumption to meet the energy demands of scaling artificial intelligence.
