RTX’s Pratt & Whitney business received a $1.3 billion contract for F135 engine spare parts. The F135 serves as the propulsion system for all three F-35 Lightning II variants. This agreement funds initial spare parts and support equipment for fiscal year 2026. The contract covers requirements for the U.S. military and international F-35 customers.

The award strengthens a global sustainment network to ensure mission readiness. This network includes 42 bases, 13 ships, and numerous depot facilities worldwide. Pratt & Whitney has delivered more than 1,500 F135 production engines to date. The program currently supports customers across 20 allied nations.
