Samsung has officially announced the U.S. launch of its Galaxy Z TriFold phone, which will be available starting January 30 for $2,899. The device, which features two hinges, unfolds to reveal a 10-inch display, the largest yet on a Samsung Galaxy phone. It will be offered in a "Crafted Black" color with 512GB of storage.

The introduction of the TriFold marks Samsung's push into a new, higher-priced tier of the foldable market, significantly above its existing Z Fold series. This will be the first and only tri-folding smartphone commercially available in the United States, positioning Samsung without a direct competitor in this specific form factor at launch.
