DHL Supply Chain integrated its first all-electric Tesla Semi into its North American fleet, calling the deployment a major step in its decarbonization strategy. The truck now operates in Central California, running approximately 160 kilometers daily. This operation is expected to significantly reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions.

The integration follows a successful pilot program. During the trial, the Semi covered over 5,000 kilometers on regular routes, demonstrating its capabilities for long-haul work.

Dan Priestley, Tesla Semi director, stated that DHL’s partnership is valuable for refining the vehicle for broader global markets. DHL plans to add more Tesla Semis to its fleet in 2026, contingent on increased production volumes.
