Tesla Inc. announced two new Semi truck trim levels: 'Standard' and 'Long Range.'
The 'Standard' version offers a 325-mile range. The 'Long Range' model achieves 500 miles.
Both trims recover 60% of their range with a 30-minute charge. They maintain a gross combination weight of 82,000 lbs.
CEO Elon Musk reaffirmed the company will scale up Semi volume production this year.
Tesla continues making inroads in the logistics sector. The company delivered its first Semi units to DHL. Tesla also struck a partnership with Uber Freight to promote electric vehicle adoption among operators.
