Tesla formalized a three-year framework agreement with SPIE, a pan-European engineering and energy services company. This partnership focuses on deploying Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Europe.
The deal expands on their existing collaboration, which includes the 1.4 GWh Mufasa BESS in the Netherlands. That facility will utilize 372 Tesla Megapacks and is slated to be the largest of its kind in the country.
The agreement streamlines the deployment of Tesla's Megapack technology within SPIE's BESS portfolio. This portfolio features a 100 MW/200 MWh project in France and a 50 MW/200 MWh project in Belgium.
This strategic partnership aims to accelerate the rollout of large-scale energy storage solutions. The goal is to support grid stability and enhance the integration of renewable energy sources across the continent.
