Tesla filed two new trademarks with the US Patent and Trademark Office. The filings surfaced on February 10, 2026. They include a three-line side profile sketch and a stylized 'Roadster' wordmark. The move suggests the second-generation Roadster is approaching production.
CEO Elon Musk hinted at a spring reveal for the vehicle. Musk called the event potentially "the most memorable product unveil ever."
The original announcement occurred in 2017. Production remains 12 to 18 months away. Tesla expects customer deliveries in late 2027.
