Tesla has launched new, more affordable versions of its electric vehicles across European and Canadian markets. In Europe, the company introduced a new 'Standard' Model Y Long Range with rear-wheel drive. This variant offers up to 657 km of WLTP range.
Concurrently, Canada received a new standard Model Y. This vehicle is priced competitively at $49,990 CAD. Tesla is importing these units from its Gigafactory in Berlin.
The company also launched a new entry-level Model 3 'Standard' with a lower starting price. This model features a smaller battery and offers a range of 322 miles. These strategic launches aim to reduce running costs and insurance premiums, making Tesla's core products more accessible to a broader range of customers.
