Visa finalized the acquisitions of Prisma Medios de Pago and Newpay in Argentina to strengthen its Latin American payment infrastructure.
In Asia, the company is participating as a cornerstone investor in the U.S. initial public offering of SoftBank’s PayPay. PayPay currently operates as one of Japan’s leading digital wallet providers.
Visa is also supporting the forthcoming launch of Apple Pay in India. These initiatives aim to capitalize on the global growth of digital transactions through targeted partnerships and acquisitions.
