Google began construction on a major AI hub in Visakhapatnam, India. This project initiates a $15 billion investment in the country. Google plans to deploy this capital over the next five years.

Google partnered with AdaniConneX and Nxtra by Airtel for the development. The project features three data center campuses and an expanded fiber-optic network. These facilities will establish a gigawatt-scale AI ecosystem.

This initiative marks one of Google’s largest infrastructure investments in India. The hub supports the Indian government’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. It provides high-performance, low-latency services for businesses to scale AI solutions. The project also integrates clean energy and local community development initiatives.
