Nscale expanded its collaboration with Microsoft to deliver over 66,000 next-generation NVIDIA Rubin GPUs. The deployment will be housed at Start Campus's SINES Data Campus in Portugal. This project represents one of the largest and most advanced AI infrastructure developments in the European Union.

Deployment is scheduled to begin in late 2027. The agreement builds upon a previous deal for 12,600 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs. Nscale will invest €230 million in shared infrastructure. The company committed an additional €465 million for a second data center building.

The deal utilizes NVIDIA’s Rubin architecture, which has not yet been officially released. This scale underscores the massive forward-looking demand for AI compute. Major cloud providers are making significant capital commitments to secure leadership in the AI sector.
