NVIDIA and Corning launched a multi-year partnership to scale U.S. manufacturing of advanced optical connectivity. These solutions support the global buildout of AI factories and next-generation data centers.
Corning will increase its U.S. optical connectivity manufacturing capacity tenfold. The company will expand its fiber production by more than 50%. Corning is constructing three new manufacturing facilities in North Carolina and Texas. The expansion will create over 3,000 new jobs in the United States.
High-speed interconnects are essential for the architecture of modern AI clusters. These networks allow massive datasets to move between thousands of GPUs at high speed. This partnership aims to strengthen the U.S. supply chain for foundational AI infrastructure.
