NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang joined President Donald Trump’s diplomatic delegation to Beijing on May 13, 2026. This high-stakes summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping aims to restart negotiations for H200 artificial intelligence chip sales.
Huang reportedly boarded Air Force One following a direct call from the President. He joins other top executives, including Apple’s Tim Cook and Tesla’s Elon Musk, to discuss technology controls and trade relations.
Huang previously estimated the Chinese market opportunity for these chips at $50 billion. NVIDIA shares rose 2.4% in premarket trading following the announcement.
Investors are monitoring the visit closely to see if it resolves shipment delays impacting NVIDIA’s regional growth.
