NVIDIA supplier Wistron Corp. officially opened a new $700 million manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas, to produce advanced AI systems for the U.S. market. The plant has already begun mass-producing NVIDIA's current flagship GB300 Grace Blackwell superchips and is the first facility to do so on U.S. soil. This move is a significant step in reshoring critical technology manufacturing and strengthening the American AI supply chain.
The Texas factory is also slated to manufacture NVIDIA's next-generation 'Vera Rubin' platform, positioning it as a key hub for future AI hardware. The facility is expected to scale up to produce tens of thousands of computing boards monthly and create over 1,000 jobs by the end of the year. The opening is part of a broader $500 billion U.S. investment commitment announced by NVIDIA in 2025 to bolster domestic AI infrastructure.
