XPeng officially launched its GX flagship SUV to compete in China’s large SUV market. The six-seat model retails between 279,800 yuan ($41,120) and 359,800 yuan. This pricing sits significantly below the initial pre-sale figure of 399,800 yuan. Limited-time incentives further lower the entry price to 269,800 yuan. The strategy positions the GX against rivals such as Nio’s Onvo L90.

XPeng is utilizing the GX to expand into high-end segments and boost profitability. The vehicle offers both battery electric (BEV) and extended-range (EREV) powertrains. The top-tier BEV variant delivers a range of up to 750 kilometers. The EREV version provides a combined range of up to 1,585 kilometers. This launch addresses declining delivery volumes and intensifying market competition.
