Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) reported a record second-quarter net profit of T$706.6 billion.

Quarterly revenue rose 36% to approximately $40.2 billion. High-performance computing accounted for 66% of total revenue. Robust demand for advanced artificial intelligence chips drove the performance.

TSMC raised its full-year 2026 revenue growth forecast to more than 40% in U.S. dollar terms. This exceeds the previous guidance of over 30% growth.

The company increased its 2026 capital expenditure plan to a range of $60 billion to $64 billion. The prior spending forecast was between $52 billion and $56 billion.
