Airbus delivered the first A320neo aircraft from its new Tianjin, China, Final Assembly Line (FAL) to China Eastern Airlines on Wednesday.
The facility marks the company’s second assembly line in Tianjin and its tenth worldwide.
This expansion supports the global strategy to increase A320 Family production to 75 aircraft per month.
China is forecast to represent more than 20% of global aviation demand in the coming decades.
