Ford Motor Company announced a major overhaul of its European strategy, partnering with Renault Group to develop and manufacture affordable electric vehicles. The collaboration combines Renault's industrial scale with Ford's design to counter rising pressure from Chinese EV makers. Jointly produced EVs are expected in showrooms by 2028.

This new European chapter strengthens the Ford Pro commercial vehicle division. Ford also plans a new offensive of multi-energy passenger cars.

Ford also urged European policymakers to align CO2 emission targets with current market realities. The company emphasized the need to make the electric transition more affordable for consumers and businesses to stimulate demand.
