GE Aerospace will invest $1 billion into its U.S. manufacturing facilities and supplier network through 2026. This initiative represents the second consecutive year of billion-dollar capital commitments. The funding will be distributed across more than 30 locations in 17 states.

The company aims to accelerate engine delivery and enhance parts production to extend maintenance intervals. The investment also focuses on strengthening defense manufacturing capabilities. GE Aerospace plans to hire 5,000 new employees in manufacturing and engineering roles across the country.

Specific allocations include $200 million for CFM LEAP engine high-pressure turbine durability kits. More than $100 million is designated for external suppliers to provide tooling and equipment. Previous investment cycles have already generated a 40 percent improvement in material input from key suppliers.
