Google nevertheless moved forward with integrating AI, including its Gemini model, into educational products used by millions of students. The push has reportedly fueled a backlash among educators and parents concerned about the technology’s effects.
External reports have also found that Google’s AI tools could provide inappropriate responses and complete students’ homework.
