Airbus is investing £150 million ($200 million) to convert its former A380 factory in Broughton, Wales.
The facility will produce wings for the A321neo to address a substantial order backlog.
The A321neo currently represents approximately 75% of all A320-family orders.
This expansion supports a production goal of 75 A320-family aircraft per month.
The repurposed site will feature six wing production jigs and reach full capacity by late 2026.
Manufacturing has already commenced on the first wing at the facility.
The project will create roughly 480 new jobs at the Broughton site during 2026.
